Inspired by the idea that one of the greatest gifts a generation can pass on is the wisdom it has gained from experience, Zuckerman’s Wisdom project, produced with cooperation from Archbishop Desmond Tutu, is an index of extraordinary perspectives from people who have made their own unique mark on the world.
Contributors include Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Clint Eastwood, Madeleine Albright, Billy Connolly, Judi Dench, Vaclav Havel, John Hume, Dr. Garrett FitzGerald, Nick Nolte, Jane Goodall, Ted Kennedy, Billie Jean King, Henry Kissinger, Kris Kristofferson, Nelson Mandela, Willie Nelson, Robert Redford, Vanessa Redgrave, Chinua Achebe, Andrew Wyeth, Nadine Gordimer, Graham Nash, Ravi Shankar, Chuck Close, Richard Rodger, Rosamunde Pilcher, Massimo & Leila Vignelli Esta Mahlangu and Zbegniew Brzezinski.
the exhibition will be opened by Padraig Kennelly, journalist and Photographer at 6pm on Friday, 12 March, 2010.
The Dingle Film Festival screens the Wisdom documentary on Sunday 21st March.
